Harley Davidson Personality #1 -

When you look at a Harley Davidson motorcycle, what do you feel? Well there are two ways of looking at it. There is the positive as there is the negative. However, the negatives aren't many but some people just want to give Harley Davidson a bad name.

Harley Davidson has been around for almost 102 years and counting, by William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson, and has never been doing better. They bring us the most exclusive and state of the art motorcycle that we have ever seen. Many people don't know this but according to Zack's Equity Research, Harley Davidson company earnings per share have grown in double for 5 consecutive years. This is a remarkable accomplishment for Harley Davidson because this shows that they are striving harder to bring us the best of the best in motorcycles (ZER, 2015).


 

Harley Davidson does have many competition as do they have threats. These competitions are Zonda, Kawasaki and Ducati. Although these are superbikes and Harley's are more for cruising, their accomplishments are not far behind of Harley Davidson. Yes their motorcycles are made for power and style but consider the fact that if the motorcycle goes out-dated, they will have to purchase a new one to keep up with the latest trends. Harley Davidson however can install latest parts on the oldest of models with ease. This is why Harley Davidson is number one with regard to motorcycles.

The threats that concern the Harley Davidson consumers are the prices of the motorcycles. Yes they are steep but ever wondered as to why that is? Well firstly they bring us the latest parts and equipment for the motorcycle, secondly they offer roadside assistance for the first 2 years should anything happen with the motorcycle and thirdly they are very understanding and friendly people. Most people would say that all dealerships are friendly and understanding. Name me one. There are none because they are always complaining on how we as the consumers are at fault.

Harley Davidson's primary objective is to get people out of their comfort zones and give them an experience a dream worth remembering. They want them to change the way they see motorcycles and perhaps make them realise that there is nothing better than a ride down the road on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
